Le Marais de Montfort

Today, Zoë was invited to spend the afternoon with her friend Garance. Together they went to an ariel adventure park (accrobranche). While she was away, the three of us went for a small hike to visit a bog near a town called Montfort. Unknown to us, at the mountains just beside, there was a paragliding and hang-gliding festival called 'La Coupe Icare'. So we had a great afternoon watching hang-gliders and para-gliders jumping off the top of a ridge in the Chartreuse and then doing stunts like somersaults as they glided down. We didn't have a proper camera - so the photos aren't great. It was also a great opportunity to try out the binoculars that Claire&Claude gave Adrian for his birthday. One of the para-gliders was wearing a costume that looked like a dragon! And - while we were at the gliding festival, we found a pair of second hand skis for Ben!
